Climate Resilience, Empowerment & Advocacy
We empower persons with disabilities to claim their rights, participate fully in society, and achieve sustainable livelihoods.
Our Approach
EID-U believes that meaningful inclusion begins with empowered individuals and communities. We equip persons with disabilities with knowledge of their human rights and support them to identify, report, and challenge discrimination.
Our advocacy work addresses critical issues such as gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, education, and social protection. We promote economic empowerment by supporting access to livelihoods, skills development, and opportunities for economic participation.
Rather than speaking for persons with disabilities, we work alongside them as partners for change, ensuring their voices lead advocacy efforts at community, national, and regional levels.
